FAQs

• AC or DC chargers — which do we need?

  Depends on how long the vehicles are dwelling. Overnight and workplace charging usually suits AC. Fast turnaround (fleet, service stations, destination) usually calls for DC fast charging.

• Will our existing supply and switchboard handle multiple chargers?

  Often it needs an upgrade or a load management system, especially for multiple chargers or DC. We assess this up front as part of the design.

• Can we charge our customers or the public for using the chargers?

  Yes. Paid public charging needs a back-end payment platform and the right charger hardware. We can specify and integrate the right setup for your site.

• Are there rebates or funding available?

  Grants and rebates for commercial EV infrastructure change regularly at both the state and federal level. We're happy to help identify what's currently available when we scope your project.
