FAQ
-
A defect notice may result in the stand disconnection of your power to your property or a time frame to which you need to rectify the issue from the defect notice. Failure to rectify the defect within the timeframe will result in disconnection of the power to the premises.
-
All defect notices should be dealt with in an urgent matter to ensure disconnection to the property is avoided or minimised.
-
You need a licensed electrical contractor to carry out the repair and issue the Electrical Safety Certificate. Barcam Electrical is fully licensed (Electrical Contractor Licence 66978) and a Master Electricians Australia Gold Member — so yes, we're the right team for the job.
-
Ergon may charge a reconnection fee once the repair is complete and the certificate has been issued. That's separate from our repair invoice and is between you and Ergon.
